EXPLANATORY VIDEOS BY STUDENTS OF THE SOFTWARE DESIGN COURSE AWARDED A PRIZE

THE TWO BEST PROJECT WORKS IN THE AREA OF MOVING IMAGES ON THE TOPICS OF "SMART HOME" AND "SEO" CONVINCED THE JURY OF THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY.

Within the framework of the lectures on project management and multimedia technology, the desired high practical content was directly implemented with the creation of explanatory videos and a website in cooperation with Professor Timea Illes-Seifert and Rinaldo Heck (IFI member and lecturer).

The students completed their projects with great enthusiasm. After the final presentation, the best were chosen and awarded prizes by the jury of the TH Aschaffenburg.

Founder and Managing Director of HE-S Digital Management GmbH, Rinaldo Heck, was pleased to donate the prizes. There were online shopping vouchers of 30 euros each for the winners and 15 euros each for the runners-up.

Rinaldo Heck is not only a lecturer at the TH AB on the topic of "Multimedia", but as a member of the Initiative for Informatics (IFI), together with over 60 entrepreneurs from the Bavarian Lower Main region, he has been campaigning since 2018 for the establishment of a new IT degree course in Software Design at the Technical University of Aschaffenburg.

The first place went to the nerd.tv team of Steven Dudek, Lukas Fath, Anabel Funk, Mikail Kaya and Johannes Krausert. They vividly demonstrated what SEO means and how it works.

Second place went to the C-Sharps team of Stefan Pietzner, Max Fleckenstein, Paul Deger, Robin Intrieri and Sascha Roßbach. They had convincingly implemented the topic "Smart Home" in the moving image.

A jury used various criteria for the evaluation. In particular, knowledge transfer, story telling, speed/dynamics/animation, individuality and visuals were taken into account.

We wish all students all the best and much success for their future careers and private lives.
