Heterogeneous system landscapes, which also have to take into account many NON-SAP applications in the company, require a platform and the technological possibilities to map this. How does a company master this requirement? First of all, it is important to take stock of the situation. Then, on the basis of current standards, a way is shown that enables integration into a heterogeneous system landscape. It is a fact that this way also works for all other applications that have to communicate with SAP. To provide an introduction to the topic, the integration of SAP document management is shown here in the article.
